Rovral Aquaflo Fungicide contains 500 grams per litre Iprodione and is intended to repress the growth of specific diseases in a variety of crops and conditions that are caused by fungi.  Marketed in suspension concentrate formulation type, it is available in 5 litre containers, and is used for agricultural and crop protection.

Safety measures are recommended by the manufacturer in its usage, handling and storage, which are as follows:

●     Store Rovral Aquaflo Fungicide in an airy, cool and sheltered area.

●     Keep it away from children, animals and do not store it together with foods, fertilizers, plant feeds and other insecticides.

●     Avoid storing fungicide for long durations under the direct heat of the sun.

●     Keep it away from cold conditions.

●     Containers need to be pressure- or triple-rinsed prior to discarding them with rinsings added to the spray tank.

●     Replace cap if container is reusable and present to elected recycling post.  On the other hand, non-reusable containers or packs must be drained of its contents, crushed and buried in an authorized hazardous waste pit situated in the locality.  Otherwise, containers must be buried 500 mm beneath a refuse heap if an authorized hazardous waste pit is unavailable.  The said area must be specially marked to avoid contaminating waterways, tree roots and other plants.

●     Avoid lighting empty product containers.

●     Avoid re-using empty containers even if these have been cleaned.

They are dangerous to humans and can result to chronic and acute health problems, it is necessary to follow the above safety measures.   As fungicides are hazardous, usage and upkeep must follow the standards set by the Environmental Protection Agency.
